Our ResumeThe Crockett Team Recognized as one of America's Top Realtors REALTOR magazine, a publication of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and The Wall Street Journal has honored The Crockett Team as being in the Top 100 Realtors (actually #38) for residential sales out of a total membership in the NAR of about 1.2 Million Realtors. Judie Crockett has been a top Realtor with Howard Hanna (formerly Smythe Cramer Co.) since she entered the business in 1978. In 1994, Judie formed "The Crockett Team" with her husband David, son Todd, and daughter, Melissa Crockett Willis. David had been the manager of the Mentor office of Howard Hanna Smythe Cramer from 1984 to 1994, Melissa was working with Judie as a licensed marketing assistant after graduating from John Carroll University with a degree in economics and Todd was working in Arizona after earning a degree in real estate from ASU. Melissa has since moved on in her career to be Regiona Manager/Vice President of Howard Hanna. The Crockett Team operates like a 'mini-brokerage' within Howard Hanna. The idea behind the team concept was to put together a team of experts who would work together but still individually focus on certain areas of the home-selling and home-buying process in order to greatly increase the overall level of service. "In representing both sellers and buyers, there are so many important things to be done that just one person cannot do it all", says Judie. "In order to give our sellers and buyers a real competitive advantage in the marketplace, we work to be the very best at every aspect of the process . . . pricing, marketing, advertising, negotiating and follow up." The Crockett Team has grown since its inception in 1994 consisting now of Judie, Dave and Todd, who specialize in listing, marketing and negotiations. The administrative team consists of a Client Manager, an Escrow Manager and an Operations Manager. Ten Realtor/Partners who both list and sell homes round out the team. Every member of The Crockett Team undergoes advanced and continuous training in order to stay on top of their game and increase their overall service level. The Crockett Team business has grown dramatically since the team was formed helping over 350 families a year move compared to the average Realtor who sells fewer than 10 homes per year. The Crocketts have been recognized and honored nationally for their work, appearing as featured speakers at the National Association of Realtors' conventions and as guest presenters for major real estate companies throughout the country. In October of 1995, The Crockett Team was honored by StarPower, an international real estate sales training company, as being one of the 12 top Realtors in the USA and Canada for that year. Judie, Dave, Melissa and Todd also serve as senior instructors for Star Power University, teaching graduate level courses in business systems, team building, and listing and buyer specialist training for top Realtors throughout the country.
